Found a newly renovated and opened joint with delicious Neapolitan style pizza with great quality ingredients! The owners of Chez Meili Deli, a high quality Austrian deli with handmade cuts of cold cut meats and sausages have left Seoul, but not before Sortino's bought out the place to create this 3rd out of 4 location of "The Springs Tap House" in Itaewon (the other one is located on the main strip of Kyunglidan and Chungdamdong).
The NORD pizza (for two) - "In house made fine diced smoked air dried Jeju-do pork pancetta (think saucisse), Tongyong sauteed spinach fresh flore di latte mozzarella, cheese and extra virgin olive oil. This pie had a great amount of toppings without being overpowering. You could taste each ingredient separately, and it had a great balance of flavours. I would definitely order this kind again.

Neapolitan pizza is characterized as having more sauce than cheese, therefore leaving the middle of the pie typically wet or soggy, which is why the sizes are generally smaller, more like a personal pizza size. They are cooked at very high temperatures for more than a minute and a half to get a perfect crispy yet chewy crust with the cheese just bubbling.

My friend tried this kind last time - the STRONG MAN (for two) - "The Springs in-house made Jeju black pork sausage infused with strong man ale roasted fennel seed cheddar, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Didn't try it, but looked good. I liked the sound of the ingredients on the last pizza and want to try the JEWISH MAN next time!
We weren't sure which beer to get, so they were nice enough to bring us out 3 samples to taste. We tried the Trailblazer, Bombshell and Old Sailor's.
My two friends went with a different choice and ordered the "Blue Collar" and I went with the "Bombshell". The Blue Collar had a bitter flavour like an IPA to me, and the Bombshell was more of a citrus lighter beer.

4 Sausage Platter - Grilled Chef Meili Krainer, Salzburg, Nuremberg and Italian Fennel Seed Sausage with Sauerkraut and mixed salad.
The owner brought us out a few slices of pastrami and pimento loaf cold cuts to try. These were DELICIOUS! I definitely want to come back to try a Meili Platter or one of many sandwiches they had with these great quality deli cut meats. The pastrami wasn't too salty which was a pleasant surprise!
I am not even sure which sausage was which, but we all liked the second from the right one the best (the pinkish one)! The other ones didn't have as much flavour as we would've liked - especially the white one at the top!
Great location, great small but cozy new joint of The Springs Tap House blended with history of Chez Meili Deli! Exact same location of where the old Chez Meili Deli was (right across from Taco Bell!)

When? Not too sure on this one as it just opened and I can't find any of the new location hours/daily openings.
Parking? No, but there is a lot right in front of the IBK bank at the 3 way intersection.

Directions: In Itaewon, it's right across the street from Taco Bell. Come out of Itaewon Station exit 4, turn around and walk with Hamilton Hotel directly behind you down the 3 way. IBK bank should be on your right, and once you walk for 5 seconds, it's on the corner on your right, right after the first alley way. Same location as the old Chez Meili Deli.
